Two Days
April 13, 2008Well, I am super excited to announce that the taxes are 100% DONE!!! And already on their way to TaxLand! I will be getting a pretty penny back from TaxLand straight to my checking account which will be perfect for . . . bill paying.
Bill paying? How boring.
I know! I've never done anything big with my refunds. What do you do with yours? What do you suggest I do with mine? Ballpark $1000.
Any ideas?

Invest it in a Roth IRA for your retirement.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jen!!!!! You must have a huge weight off of your shoulders now! I did Fed and WI last night and IN today. I had to pay IN $63.10. I've NEVER owed taxes! LOL But since WI unemployment was received while I lived here....IN taxes me on it. Oh well! At least both states didn't tax me for it! :) I'm getting back $300 from Fed and $320 from WI. ReplyDeleteI agree with Mikey. It may not seem exciting today, but in the future you would appreciate your 2008 wisdom if you put that $1000 in a Roth IRA(but how BORING is that now?).

ReplyDeleteOh what I wish I could do with a large tax refund check..like, say, go on an amazing vacation or get a laptop of my dreams :)
