Speaking of photos... anybody have any tips on what I (along with hubby) should wear for my/our photo shoot? Or suggestions for any props I should bring for the shoot?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Really? It's only Tuesday??

And it's already past my bedtime.

I was able to get my maternity photo shoot rescheduled - yea! Instead of being 3 weeks out from our due date, they will be 6 weeks out. Makes me feel much better! Hoping I can still fit into my wedding & engagement rings then too. Maybe that seems silly, but I really want to be able to wear them for the photos. There were a couple days in August when I moved them to my pinky, but the swelling went down after the heat decreased, and I was able to get them back on my ring finger.

I had an amazing burger at Chili's tonight. We had coupons. And it was actually half a burger that I ended up eating. Took home leftovers. It had bacon and barbeque sauce, and I added ranch. Oh, it was so good!

Speaking of burgers...

We'll see what my weight does the next 7 1/2 weeks or so. They say to expect to go up about a pound per week at this point. After talking with a couple co-workers yesterday and hearing about their pregnancy weight gained (60 lbs and 80 lbs), it made me feel really good about my 29 pounds. :)

Baby girl & I are both 32!

Everything was good at my last check-up. I have them every two weeks currently.

The dr. did say though that I am measuring slightly above average. My weight has pretty much stayed the same for the last 6 weeks or so, but my belly is growing lots. It it continues to be above average they will want to do another ultrasound to check baby's size and see what we're dealing with.

We have had 3 ultrasounds so far.

I just scheduled professional maternity photos, but I am afraid I will go into labor early and won't get to take them. They are scheduled at 37 weeks. My sister-in-law delivered at 37 weeks. It's not highly unlikely honestly. (That's a lot of -ly's) Kinda scares me. Yikes...

We had our big birthing class at our hospital over the weekend. Learned a lot of good information and got to tour the hospital - so great!

Well, as much as I don't want to, I must force myself to go get ready for bed. A new work week starts tomorrow, and I've got to get up in 8 hours. Goodnight!

The baby is kicking a lot. That's how I chose tonight's blog title.

I have not done a good job at blogging lately. But a new blog header is in the works. The current one is quite outdated, so get ready to bid it farewell.

I'm back at work now. Actually I have been for over a month. The first couple weeks were so hard!! This year is harder than last year. More kids. More expectations. Longer hours. Less pay. But I keep plugging away - one day at a time. That's pretty much my motto. And honestly it's nice to have the routine.

Being pregnant is harder than I expected, and I realize it's going to be getting harder and harder with each day, each week that goes by. We've got a couple different due dates, depending on who we're talking to. We go with the estimated due date of November 19; although our doctor's office has us at the less accurate date of November 16. Not much of a difference. But in our eyes we are at 31 weeks. In our doctor's office's eyes, tomorrow we are 32 weeks.

I think now I'm starting to freak out about it ending. Funny - a few weeks ago I was so grateful to move to 29 weeks instead of 28, and now I just want to stay at 31.

I've got a good schedule at school. I'm working with good teachers. I'm in 1 English class, 3 Social Studies classes, and 2 Science classes. I'm learning a lot. :) Even though they are all year-long classes, I heard my schedule will change for the school's second trimester. I'm guessing it will change for 3rd tri as well. I will be away from work on maternity leave for pretty much the bulk of 2nd trimester.

We have expanded into the lower level of our home and need to get working on the nursery now.

My brother and sister-in-law welcomed their baby girl into the world last month. She came 3 weeks early, that little stinker! We are loving getting to know her.
